Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (60K-75K) (SDG-37496)
<Job Responsibilities>
 Design mechanical systems and equipment
 make calculations and define the parameters necessary to the design
 Review the standards that apply to the processes and systems
 Develop concepts and select a solution in collaboration with the team
 Model plans, drawings and specifications for systems and equipment
 Search and select component and materials for the systems and equipment
 Obtain and evaluate quotation from suppliers for components
 Prepare/verify the design and drawings
 Solve problems met in the design of systems and equipment in collaboration with the engineering team
 Carry out research and development projects
 Conduct tests and trials
 Support the manufacturing team into eh execution of the projects under way
 Prepare and present project reports
 Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical design at design reviews
 Generate minutes from Design reviews if necessary
 Highlights all mechanical technical risks to the engineering manager
 Keeps up to date with the latest manufacturing techniques and drawing standards
 Take technical lead on specific projects and agree technical approach with the engineering manager
 Responsible for checking drawing/ parts libraries are up to date and correct regularly
 Create of 2D drawings
 Checking and validating Mechanical Engineers designs
 Reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the manager & PM

 Responsible for production of Customer Procurement drawings for new products
 Responsible for generation of Assembly drawings and bills
 Attend the meeting design to cost figures
 Carrying out design change requests in a timely manner
 Ensure the mechanical design output fits in with all other aspects of the design
 Coaching and supporting mechanical design
 Identify any personal or mechanical team training needs to the engineering manager
 Regularly review the departmental design processes
 Resilient to cope with conflicting demands
 Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing and service teams

 Review and approve manufacturing work
 Collaborate int preparation of technical documents
 Analyze the problems encountered by customers and make recommendations
 Solve technical problems at customers’ site
 Evaluate the costs and deadlines relative to the design of the specifications requested by customers
 Create product specification & keep up to dated

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
 Thai nationality, Male, age 35-40 years old
 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer
 At least 10 years working experience in mechanical design
 Able to use Solid-Edge and AutoCAD

English: Conversational Level
Japanese: None

Workplace Area: BTS Udomsuk/Bangna, Bangkok
Working Hour: 8:00-17:00(Mon-Fri)
