Work outline: Provides legal counsel for Litigation file to management and staff including performance of outsource law firm and Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Handle all litigation cases by working closely with the outsource law firm as necessary and going to a court sometimes
Ø Develops/implements corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
Ø Review new local and international regulatory requirements to support business operations and compliance function to ensure that the company will comply with the local laws and regulations.
Ø Ensure that related departments are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations, advising, investigating and implementing related legal aspects
Ø Participate and coordinate with related departments for investigation, negotiation and reconcilement in legal dispute issues or help them understanding legal terms and conditions, legal consequences
Ø Periodically reviews and updates Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees
Ø Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
Ø Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, to keep senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts.
Ø Works with the Human Resources Department and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers.
Ø Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved
Ø Supervise and monitor the litigation case with external lawyer for supporting the lawyer
Ø Other assigned project by superior
Qualifications:
[Must]
Ø Thai nationality, male/female, age 38-45 years old
Ø Bachelor's Degree or higher in Laws
Ø 7+ years of work experience in Legal & Compliance experience
Ø Good working knowledge and experience with the laws of Thailand, particularly in the areas of corporate and general contracts; Labor Law, Civil law, Criminal law, Commercial Law and others laws etc.
Ø Strong legal document drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
Ø Excellent communication skill and leadership skill
Ø Good command in English
Ø Hold Lawyer license
Preferable:
Ø Experienced in Trading business
Languages skills
English: Advanced Conversational level
Japanese: None

Working Hour: 8:30 – 17:30 (Mon – Fri)
