Duties & Responsibilities:
Tax Matters
Review tax incentives and other tax optimization opportunities in Thailand against establish business model to minimize tax cost to the company.
Identify potential tax risks and develop effective plan/initiatives
Recommend tax efficient structure for business transactions including purchases & sales agreements.
Liaise with tax agents and revenue officer on corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT, import duty, customs regulations, and transfer pricing regulations in Thailand and ensure compliance.
Gather and prepare documents to clarify with revenue officer.
Provide support during tax audits and review documents to submit for tax filing.
Research, compile and analyze financial or business related data to advise MD for decisions making.
Accounting Matters
Act as backup for Accounts Executive on accounting entries, month-end closing and reports.
Review financial statements (e.g. P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow) and ensure timely submissions for quarterly or half-yearly consolidated package and reports.
Liaise with distributors/dealers on Letter of Credit and TT advance payments.
Liaise with external and internal auditors on audit issues and follow-ups.
Participate in negotiate with Bank of Thailand for renewal of foreign currency transactions.
Qualifications:
[Must]
Thai nationality, Male and Female , 35-45 years
Bachelor degree and higher Accounting or Finance
5 – 8 years related accounting experience in tax and import duty matters.
Knowledge of tax and business law preferred.
Possess supervisory experience of accounting staff.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in MS Excel (Advance Level) and Power point presentation
knowledge of import trading impact on taxation is a must
Experiences in similar trade pattern
Experiences and understood the currency exchange
Good knowledge of Thailand’s Finance and tax legislation.
Proficient in Microsoft office software.
Excellent command of English
Possessed CPD license
Preferable Skill / Experience
Knowledge of Japanese language will be an added advantage
Experience of communicating with Audit and Bank vendors is preferable.
