Cost Specialist / Senior Cost Specialist (40K – 60K) (SDG-93859)

• Data Collection
• - Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
• - Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
• - Prepare submit data & reporting related Accounting, Production, Fix assets if any as BOI requirement.
• Inventory
• - Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• - Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
• - Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
• - Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
• - Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
• - Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted
• accounting principles.
• - Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete
• inventory.
• Analysis
• - Conduct ongoing process constraint analysis.
• - Report on breakeven points by products, work centers, and factory.
• - Report on margins by product and division.
• - Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on
• spending variances.
• - Analyze capital budgeting requests.
• - Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group.
• Fix Asset
• - Assign tag numbers to fixed assets.
• - Conduct periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets.
• - Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close
• out those accounts once the related projects have been completed.
• - Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary level.
• - Account in the general ledger.
• - Prepare audit schedules.

• Age 30-40 years
• Any gender
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
• Have working experience at least 5 years about Cost Accounting from any manufacturing industry
• Conversational middle level in English
• Familiar and perform at least one of accounting software i.e. Oracle, SAP or SyteLine background are preferred
• Able to use MS Office program
• Have management experience is preferable
• Have CPD license is preferable
