Work Outline: Ensures a company's policies and rules are in line with regulatory and ethical standards, regardless of whether government or a company's executive management establish the standards. Conducts audits and makes recommendations that will keep the company from undergoing legal struggles or facing other difficulties due to non-compliance issues
Duties & Responsibilities:
To set the overall yearly strategy and plan for compliance management which be directed by headquarters standard, to comply with Thai law
To develop and implement the compliance policy
To work closely with Legal Affairs Section to be the in house legal adviser providing legal consulting and legal opinions, especially the topics that concern with compliance
To understand the issues that businesses face about the legal compliance risk, and plan to resolve them
To be responsible for legal documents and regulatory reports/filings in accordance with laws and regulatory standards
To do corporate secretarial work such as prepare document or report to CEO, CFO, BOD, in English
To manage or review contracts and agreements, and other company legal documents in Thai/English, in order to make it comply with compliance
To coordinate with domestic group company, overseas regional and global legal & compliance team
To coordinate with all board directors and teams for regular meeting about legal & compliance issues
To coordinate with regarding government authorities and officers
To work closely controller, internal audit and risk management team to investigate if there are any non-compliance issues
To train and educate colleague in concerning law including ethic and code of conduct
To conduct any other legal and compliance tasks which may be assigned
To create and find the ways to promote compliance activities
Qualifications:
[Must]
Thai nationality only, Male/Female, age 38-48 years old
Bachelor degree in law or business discipline
5-8 years of experience with law firm
Experience developing and implementing compliance system (is preferable)
Good knowledge in Business law, Corporate law and Commercial law
Practical Knowledge of Thai Legal System
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to adapt to working in a fast-paced environment
