<Job Responsibilities>
MAIN FUNCTIONS
To maintain books and records of the Company in accordance with statutory requirements and generally accepted accounting practices / guidelines / standards.
To introduce and maintain company standard procedures and policies.
EXTEND OF AUTHORITY
The Chief Accountant’s authority is in accordance with the approved Chart of Authority and additionally he/she is to act within the framework of Policies and approved by the Chief Financial Officer. For any deviation e/she must obtain, before hand, approval of the Chief Financial Officer or the Company Manager, which can also limit specifically some of his/her powers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the timely financial reporting for the group which will include coordinating the preparation of financial statement, reports, analysis or statistics, forecast and other information for management.
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and BSO accounting policies, financial reporting standards & internal control system.
Review and suggest recommendations to management with the view to improving financial policies, controls, systems and processes.
Oversee daily accounting operations.
Responsible for preparation and review of tax
To assist in preparation of annual company’s and departmental budgets, periodic forecast and budgetary controls.
To periodically review all accounts
To ensure that all accounts and inventories are up to date.
To review and ensure that all old outstanding transactions
To perform periodic check on receivables
To spot check the payment of wages / salaries / commissions / expenses to staff / shop and depot managers.
To assist in monitoring the appropriation and financial feasibility of capital expenditure/ projects/ acquisitions.
Involve in liaising with external auditors, tax agents, financial consultants and other regulatory authorities.
Supervise and lead a team of finance and administrative staff to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Involve in developing, reviewing and implementing standard operating procedures and policies of the organization.
Ensure effective internal controls
Support due diligence needs for company.
To carry out any other job/assignment that may be given from time to time.
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
Thai nationality , Male/Female, age 45-55 years old
Bachelor’s degree accounting
Very good at English both written and spoken
5-10 year experience in Retail/ Consumer goods/ Trading/ Manufacturing industry in Management Level
CPD is required/ preferred
